My Digital Academy Roadshow by Bank Mandiri: Encouraging UNDIP’s Top Graduates to Face the Digital World

UNDIP, Semarang (May 28, 2025) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) continues to demonstrate its commitment to preparing top graduates to face the challenges of the digital era. Through the “Your Future Starts Here with My Digital Academy” program by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, UNDIP alumni selected among the Top 100 Students were given a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the professional world, particularly in the banking and digital technology sectors.

The roadshow event, held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Conference Hall on the 5th floor of the ICT Building, Tembalang Campus, was part of Bank Mandiri’s strategic initiative, My Digital Academy (MDA). The program aims to identify and nurture promising young talent in digital and information technology.

The event was officially opened by UNDIP Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., expressed appreciation for Bank Mandiri’s collaborative initiative as a concrete manifestation of UNDIP’s dedication to producing outstanding graduates capable of meeting the demands of the digital age.

“We welcome this initiative and thank Bank Mandiri for the tremendous opportunity given to our students. We hope our alumni will not only participate but also make meaningful contributions and drive innovation in the workforce, especially in the banking sector,” said Prof. Heru.

He also encouraged alumni to make the most of the opportunity. “Everyone has the same chance—always strive to do your best. Through this program, we hope UNDIP graduates can become part of Bank Mandiri’s digital ecosystem and continue growing professionally,” he added.

Echoing this sentiment, Edwin Febrianto, Government Business Head for Bank Mandiri Region VII, affirmed that the collaboration is a tangible sign of the bank’s commitment to recruiting and developing top talent from leading universities across Indonesia, including UNDIP.

“We believe the UNDIP alumni here today are among the nation’s best talents and have great potential to become future leaders in the digital world. Through My Digital Academy, we’re opening doors to meaningful and strategic career opportunities for the next generation,” he said.

The program aims to encourage more alumni to contribute to building Indonesia’s national digital ecosystem and to grow alongside one of the country’s largest financial institutions. “Let’s work together to make our best contribution to this country through Bank Mandiri,” Edwin urged.

The outreach session featured Muhammad Fuadi, Assistant Manager of Human Capital Strategy & Talent Management at Bank Mandiri, who provided an in-depth overview of the MDA program, covering its vision, training formats, and key benefits such as boot camps, mentorship, networking with industry leaders, and the chance to earn a Golden Ticket to Bank Mandiri’s Officer Development Program (ODP).

“My Digital Academy is a transformation journey for young talent. It serves as a bridge to sharpen technical skills while gaining real-world experience through live projects and collaboration within Bank Mandiri’s digital ecosystem,” Fuadi explained.

He added that top performers in the program will be eligible for a three-month paid internship with total incentives of up to IDR 10 million, as well as the coveted Golden Ticket to the Bank Mandiri’s Officer Development Program (ODP).

MDA offers two development tracks—IT Stream and Business Stream—enabling participants to select the one that best suits their interests and expertise.

The event continued with an inspirational session titled “Unlock Your Career with MDA: Tips & Tricks You Must Know!” led by Ana Febri Arifianti, who shared practical advice on every stage of the selection process—from registration and document preparation to strategies for virtual interviews and GRIT tests. These insights served as essential preparation for participants aiming to succeed in the MDA selection process.

Fueled by high participant enthusiasm, the event marked a promising first step for UNDIP alumni to advance closer to the professional world—especially within the modern banking and digital sectors—through Bank Mandiri. (Public Communication/UNDIP/DHW)
