One standout from the team was Dewa Made Arjuna Ararya, a student from UNDIP’s Vocational School majoring in Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology. Beyond his academic activities, Arjuna has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his sport, reaping notable rewards for both himself and his alma mater.

“Representing UNDIP is a powerful motivation to give my best. The most unforgettable moment was seeing UNDIP’s emblem raised on the podium—it felt like all the hard work and long hours of training had finally paid off with those medals. It wasn’t just a personal win; it was for the team, our coach, and the university,” Arjuna said.

“We also wanted to prove that UNDIP’s Vocational School students are just as capable. This champion is our real contribution to making the university proud,” he added with enthusiasm.

This achievement is a testament to how character development through sports can complement academic success. The young athletes of UNDIP have demonstrated that balanced growth—physically, mentally, and intellectually—can cultivate resilient individuals prepared to compete at national and international levels.

“Don’t be afraid to dream big. Whatever your passion—whether it’s academics, sports, the arts, or student organizations—each path has its unique challenges. I believe every UNDIP student has incredible potential. It’s just a matter of whether we’re willing to commit, persist, and not give up,” Arjuna advised.

May this accomplishment inspire the entire UNDIP academic community to continue striving for excellence, innovation, and recognition on greater stages. (Public Communication/SV-UNDIP/Endy; Ed.DHW)
