The Faculty of Humanities at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) will once again host the 3rd International Conference on Culture and Sustainable Development (ICOCAS) 2025, taking place August 6–7, 2025, at Noormans Hotel, Semarang.
Carrying the theme “The Role of the Humanities in Responding to the Challenges of a Globalized World,” the conference will feature five keynote speakers from prominent international institutions:
- Vitor Teixeira (Fernando Pessoa University, Portugal)
- Timo Duile (University of Bonn, Germany)
- Sylvia Tiwon (University of California, Berkeley, United States)
- Nelly Martin-Anatias (Massey University, New Zealand)
- Sarjit Singh Gill (Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia)
ICOCAS 2025 is part of the Faculty of Humanities’ anniversary celebration. It is envisioned as a collaborative space for scholars and researchers to discuss the contributions of the humanities to sustainable development in the context of globalization.
The event is open to the public. Participants will receive a certificate, a seminar kit, and valuable academic experience.
