Pilmapres is an annual national competition that identifies Indonesia’s most outstanding students who excel in achievements, leadership, and contributions to society and the nation. This year’s Pilmapres featured 31 top students—15 from undergraduate programs and 16 from diploma programs—evaluated by 23 national judges chaired by Prof. Dr. Ir. Illah Sailah, M.S., from IPB University.
In his remarks, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, Director of the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, expressed hope that Pilmapres would inspire all students to innovate and create real impact in their communities. “Pilmapres is not merely a competition; it is a learning process that encourages students to excel continuously,” he stated. He added that Pilmapres aims to foster a sustainable ecosystem for high-achieving, impactful students.
UNDIP Rector Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. expressed great pride in the university’s achievement. “This accomplishment is the result of hard work, perseverance, and an extraordinary spirit from our students. Felicia and Callysta have proven that UNDIP students can compete and excel at the national level. Their success reflects Universitas Diponegoro’s commitment to nurturing intelligent, ethical, and impactful students,” he said.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Illah Sailah, M.S., Chair of the National Jury from IPB University, explained that the 2025 Pilmapres was the first to be organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Kemdiktisaintek), after previously being held by the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. The assessment criteria included: outstanding achievements from the first semester onward; creative ideas (for undergraduates) and innovative products (for diploma students); and English proficiency.
Chair of the Pilmapres 2025 Committee, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Ir. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., UNDIP Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, extended his gratitude to all universities, LLDIKTI offices, judges, finalists, and everyone who contributed to the success of Pilmapres 2025 at Universitas Diponegoro.
As Vice Rector overseeing student affairs, Prof. Heru also expressed his gratitude for the achievement of the two UNDIP students who both won 1st Place in their respective categories. “This proves that in the end, effort truly correlates with results,” he said. He also thanked Felicia, Callysta, and the UNDIP Pilmapres Task Force Team for their dedication and hard work in supporting UNDIP’s outstanding students.
