UNDIP Faculty of Engineering Professor Wins Best CEO Award at the 2026 BUMN Awards

UNDIP, Jakarta (10/3) – Prof. Joga Dharma Setiawan, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), who also serves as President Director of PT LEN Industri, received the Best CEO Award at the prestigious 15th BUMN Awards 2026, held at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta. The BUMN Awards is a national event that recognizes leaders of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and their subsidiaries for their performance, innovation, and strategic leadership in driving corporate transformation.

The Best CEO Award is presented to corporate leaders deemed capable of driving innovation, implementing sustainable business strategies, and guiding their organizations to adapt to industry dynamics and technological change. The award also evaluates various aspects of leadership, including strategic vision, execution capability, talent development, and contributions to organizational transformation.

The Dean of the UNDIP’s Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamari, S.T., M.T., IPU., ASEAN Eng., expressed pride in this achievement. He stated that the award received by Prof. Joga Dharma Setiawan is not only a source of pride for Universitas Diponegoro and the Faculty of Engineering but also demonstrates the tangible contribution of UNDIP academics in leading the industrial and state-owned enterprise sectors.

“This achievement confirms that UNDIP academics are capable of making real contributions in professional leadership at the national level. Synergy and collaboration between academia and industry are key to delivering sustainable innovation and transformation. This action is in line with the tagline of Noble and Valuable UNDIP,” he said.

The BUMN Awards themselves are an annual recognition presented to state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries that demonstrate excellent performance, strong corporate governance, and impactful innovation for national economic growth. The award also recognizes CEOs whose leadership drives organizations toward global competitiveness.
