UNDIP, Semarang (2/4) – The Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Diponegoro (FK UNDIP), through its Pharmacy Study Program, conducted a licensing assessment for the UNDIP Educational Pharmacy “DipoCare” in collaboration with the Semarang City Health Office (Dinkes), the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP), and Bulusan Community Health Center (Puskesmas) on Wednesday (April 1, 2026) in Tembalang Sub-District, Semarang City.
This activity was part of a field visitation process to fulfill the requirements for establishing an educational pharmacy. The assessment aimed to ensure DipoCare’s readiness as both a healthcare service facility and an educational platform, in compliance with regulatory standards.
During the assessment, teams from DPMPTSP and the Semarang City Health Office conducted a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects, including educational standard operating procedures (SOPs), legal documentation, facilities, physical infrastructure and the readiness of human resources and professional expertise. The evaluation also covered location suitability and supporting infrastructure.
This initiative represents a strategic step by FK UNDIP in developing practice-based educational facilities integrated with healthcare services. The presence of this educational pharmacy is expected to support student learning, particularly by enhancing competencies in pharmacy through practical, professional training.
Through this assessment, the UNDIP DipoCare Educational Pharmacy will soon obtain operational permits from the relevant authorities, enabling it to begin operations and deliver benefits as both an educational facility and a healthcare service provider to the community.
Moving forward, once official permits are granted, FK UNDIP plans to inaugurate the DipoCare Educational Pharmacy as part of its commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality healthcare services that benefit the wider community. (Public Communication/UNDIP/Faculty of Medicine PR)
