UNDIP, Semarang (25/5) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) once again achieved a national accomplishment through the 2026 Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (Program Pembinaan Mahasiswa Wirausaha/P2MW). A total of six UNDIP student proposals successfully secured national funding, placing UNDIP among the universities with the highest number of accepted proposals in Indonesia.
This year, UNDIP submitted 12 outstanding proposals, comprising six early-stage and six growth-stage proposals. These proposals represented various business categories, including Food and Beverage, Cultivation, Creative Industry, Services and Trade, Manufacturing and Applied Technology and Digital Business, competing against 3,005 proposals from 570 universities across Indonesia.
This achievement reflects the growing quality of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit among UNDIP students in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges through innovative business-based solutions.
The UNDIP student proposals that successfully received P2MW 2026 funding include:
- Recyclink: A Digital Platform for MSME Waste Downstreaming with a Matching Agent System
- GERMAN FEED: An Innovative German Worm Cultivation System Using Nutritious Free Meal (MBG) Food Waste Feed
- KlikPaham: A Digital Literacy Training Program to Reduce Cybercrime Risks Among the Elderly
- Aksa: A Community-Based Upskilling Social Network for Creators
- BioVermix: Organic Fertilizer and High-Nutrition Feed to Improve Crop Yields and Poultry Productivity Based on Worm Cultivation
- Soysu: High-Protein Creamy Soy Milk Beverage with Reduced Beany Flavor
This success is inseparable from the strengthening of the entrepreneurial ecosystem through UNDIP’s Student Entrepreneurship Program (Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha/PMW). The program serves as a strategic development platform to encourage the downstreaming of student innovations into impactful products and businesses.
Through PMW, students receive funding and mentoring from UNDIP, covering business model development, market validation, innovation strengthening, branding, and sustainable business development. This scheme has become an important foundation in preparing students to compete in the national-level P2MW competition.
The achievement also reflects UNDIP’s commitment to producing “COMPLETE” graduates who are adaptive, creative, innovative, and globally competitive, while reinforcing UNDIP’s vision as a noble and valuable university.
The Rector of Universitas Diponegoro expressed appreciation for the remarkable achievement. According to the Rector, this accomplishment proves that UNDIP students are not only academically excellent but also possess strong innovation and leadership capacities in developing entrepreneurship that benefits society.
“This achievement demonstrates that UNDIP students are capable of presenting innovative solutions that are relevant to societal needs and current developments. We are proud that the entrepreneurial spirit among our students continues to grow in line with UNDIP’s vision of producing ‘COMPLETE’ graduates — intellectually excellent, adaptive, creative, and socially aware,” stated the UNDIP Rector.
Furthermore, this achievement also reflects UNDIP’s commitment to realizing a noble and valuable university by strengthening an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem that creates tangible impacts for society.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs at Universitas Diponegoro emphasized that the success was inseparable from the collaboration of various parties in mentoring students.
“P2MW serves as a strategic platform for developing student talents in entrepreneurship. The success of these six proposals demonstrates that UNDIP students can compete at the national level with innovative, sustainable, and impactful business ideas. We hope this achievement will inspire other students to continue creating and innovating,” he explained.
UNDIP remains committed to strengthening the culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the downstreaming of student ideas through various development and mentoring programs. The success in P2MW 2026 is expected to become momentum for further reinforcing UNDIP’s position as a university that produces outstanding graduates who are globally competitive and able to provide real benefits to society.
