UNDIP, Semarang (21/6) – Another proud achievement has been recorded by the academic community of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro (FSM UNDIP). Through strong collaboration and a high level of dedication to community service, the Mentoring Team, led by Prof. Dr. Hermin Pancasakti Kusumaningrum, S.Si., M.Si., a lecturer in the Biotechnology Study Program, Department of Biology, FSM UNDIP, successfully secured three prestigious awards at the Results Seminar of the 2025 Social Collaboration Program for Community Development (Kosabangsa).
The national-scale event, organized by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, was held at the Muktamar Convention Hall of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar on June 18, 2026.
During the dissemination and evaluation forum for program achievements, the outstanding collaboration between Universitas Diponegoro (Mentoring Team) and Universitas Al-Irsyad Cilacap (Implementation Team) swept awards in three different categories:
🥇 1st Place – Best Kosabangsa Product
🥈 2nd Place – Best Information Poster and Visual Creativity
🥈 2nd Place – Best Documentary Video on Program Impact
These remarkable achievements resulted from the successful implementation of a community empowerment program titled:
“Enhancing the Economic Value of Nutmeg Essential Oil to Support the SDGs, Poverty Alleviation, and Landslide Disaster Mitigation in Kutabima.” The program was implemented in Kutabima Village, Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency, and has demonstrated measurable positive impacts on the local community.
The success of the initiative was driven by strong synergy among team members. The Mentoring Team from Universitas Diponegoro, led by Prof. Dr. Hermin Pancasakti Kusumaningrum, S.Si., M.Si., was further strengthened by multidisciplinary experts Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Zainuri, DEA, and Dr. E. Drs. Hersugondo, M.M. Their expertise and strategic guidance complemented the dedication and hard work of the Implementation Team from Universitas Al-Irsyad Cilacap, led by Dini Puspodewi, S.Tr.A.K., M.Imun., together with team members Dede Yusuf, M.Kom., and Dr. Apt. Yuhansyah NF, M.Farm.
This victory demonstrates that inter-university collaboration can effectively bridge academic innovation with real community needs. Strategic guidance from experienced mentors helped ensure that every aspect of the program remained innovative, targeted, and sustainable.
The achievements at Kosabangsa 2025 further affirm FSM UNDIP’s commitment to implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi). In line with its vision, FSM UNDIP continues to develop science- and technology-based solutions that are both “Noble and Valuable”, contributing to the advancement of Indonesian society.
