Educational Quality Assurance and Development Institute (Lembaga Pengembangan dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan / LP2MP) of Diponegoro University held Specialist Doctor Education Program (Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis) Independent Admission of odd semester in 2021, on March 16th-19th 2021. The exam includes Academic Potential Test, English Language Examination, Study Program Substance Test and psychiatric interview. The number of exam participants are 388 doctors for 19 study programs.
The Academic Potential Test is a test that aims to determine talents and abilities of a person in a scientific or academic field and is also identical to the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) test which has become an international standard.
In an interview on Friday (19/3), Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas as Secretary of Educational Quality Assurance and Development Institute Undip explained that the exam uses a Computer Based Test. CBT is a test with an implementation system using computer as a medium for conducting tests, where the presentation and selection of CBT questions is computerized so that each participant who takes the test gets a different package of questions. In addition to minimize human error, CBT has other advantages including questions that can be randomized automatically by the system so that it can reduce the opportunity for exam participants to cheat as well as guarantee the security and confidentiality of the exam questions.
In carrying out the exam, participants are required to bring a valid Covid-19 Free Letter, in the form of a Rapid/SWAB/PCR test result and carry out health protocols according to new normal standards. (Linda-Public Relations)
