Semarang-Central Java(12/10). Three Indonesian Literature students from the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) UNDIP namely Akmal, Suhadi and Galih won 1st Place in the Video Competition in the “Poster and Video Competition” held by the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy 2022 related to the Socialization of a Map Policy. This event was held on Tuesday (4/10) at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta.
The implementation of the Poster and Video Competition is in line with the series of activities of the National Working Meeting for the Implementation of the One Map Policy Acceleration (PKSP) which is mandated in Presidential Regulation No.23 of 2021 to Strengthen Spatial-Based National Development. The Poster and Video Competition is held for Diploma and Bachelor (S1) students throughout Indonesia.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the Poster and Video Competition were awarded prizes directly by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto, and the Head of the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), Aris Marfai. The Top 3 winners have passed a very tight selection involving 7 Jury at the level of Echelon I Officials from 5 Ministries/Institutions, namely the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of ATR/BPN, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and the Cabinet Secretariat.
Head of Indonesian Literature Study Program, FIB UNDIP, Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, S.S., M. Hum. claimed to be proud of the achievements of his students at the national level competition. Dr. Sukarjo hoped that the talents of students in the fields of videography and photography will continue to be developed in the future.
Videography, photography, cinematography, and documentation of cultural literature are among the concerns of the study program. “All of the above are fields that are needed by various disciplines today,” he explained. (Putri/Titis – Public Relations)
