Diponegoro University Campus Mosque (Maskam) held a Ramadan Tourism Study with Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., Friday (31/3).
In his study Prof Yos said that the future of Indonesia depends on today’s young generation. For that we have to fortify ourselves from exposure to new ideologies that are contrary to Pancasila.
Furthermore Prof Yos revealed, “Successful people in the world are still judged by their position, high rank, having a house and luxury car, but that is not a guarantee that people will live happily, because true happiness cannot be measured by material things. Successful people and true happiness in life are within people who are able to increase their faith and piety and are always grateful and able to benefit those around them. Since the best human being is the most beneficial for other human beings. It is complemented with honesty which is one of the keys to success, a thing which does not need to be flaunted.”
Moh. Farras Isfahani (Student of the Faculty of Engineering) as Chair of the 2023 Undip Mosque Ramadan Activities said that the holding of a Ceria Ramadhan with Undip aims to revive Ramadan at Undip Mosque. In addition, the event aims to attract the interest of students to participate in enlivening it.
“For the Ramadan Tourism studies, several speakers were invited, one of which was the Undip Rector. It is hoped that the Rector’s presence as a guest speaker can invite students to come and revive the mosque in enlivening Ramadan,” he said.
“Apart from the Ramadan Studies, every day we also provide 500 (five hundred) servings of iftar packages for the people. Blood donation activities were also held twice during this month of Ramadan. For blood donation activities, we are working with PMI Semarang City,” he concluded. (Lin-As / Public Relations)
