The Faculty of Engineering UNDIP is Ready to Declare Itself as a Clean Serving Integrity Zone

Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the Faculty of Engineering Undip received a visit from the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) of the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The purpose of the arrival of the TPI Inspector of the General of the Ministry of Education and Culture to the Faculty of Engineering is to carry out an internal evaluation in order to prepare for the candidacy of the Faculty of Engineering Undip as an Integrity Zone – Clean Serving Bureaucracy Area (ZI-WBBM) at the national level. The evaluation event was held at the Engineering Hall, 5th Floor of the Dean Building.

At this evaluation event, the management of the Faculty of Engineering and all members of the ZI-WBBM team were present to sit down with three representatives from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Biro Ortala) and to discuss how far the preparations had been made by the Faculty of Engineering and what needed to be improved before submitted for assessment by the National Assessment Team (TPN) from Kemenpan-RB. The things being evaluated include Evaluation Worksheets (LKE) for both the Fulfillment and Reform categories, what evidence has been prepared, and what innovations have been made during the launching of this ZI-WBBM.

As one of the institutions at Diponegoro University that has received the ZI-WBK predicate in 2021, it is appropriate for the Faculty of Engineering Undip to prepare as best as possible to get the ZI-WBBM predicate the following year. However, after struggling for the last two years, the Faculty of Engineering is still not enough to be able to get this title. According to the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs who is also Deputy Chair I of the ZI-WBBM Team of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr.nat.tech. Siswo Sumardiono, S.T., M.T., the visit from TPI Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture was very good because it provided many valuable evaluations for the ZI-WBBM Faculty of Engineering Team to be able to make improvements in the future. “Hopefully, after this we can pass the assessment from TPI and be ready to progress to the assessment from TPN at the end of May this year,” said Prof. Siswo.

Prof. Siswo is sure, with the good record achieved by the Faculty of Engineering so far, the Faculty of Engineering Undip can achieve the ZI-WBBM title this year. “For now, the results of the satisfaction survey we got during these two periods are pretty good. Apart from that, the assessment team also felt that we deserve to get away with some improvements. Hopefully this year we can qualify and be submitted to the National Assessment Team,” he said.

The evaluation program was carried out for three days, starting from 9 to 11 May 2023. In this evaluation, the Internal Assessment Team from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, consisting of Ridwan, Fatah Kurniawan, and Elhida Mardiati, presented the results of the evaluation of each lever team to the leaders of the Faculty of Engineering as material for the improvement of the report which is planned to be carried out until May 20. Hopefully with this evaluation, the Faculty of Engineering Undip can win the ZI-WBBM title this year.
