UNDIP Collaborates with the Bhakti Tanoto Foundation

Diponegoro University collaborates with the Bhakti Tanoto Foundation to synergize in activities aimed at improving the quality of Indonesian education through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The signing of the 2nd Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding between Diponegoro University and the Bhakti Tanoto Foundation was carried out by Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., as Rector of Undip and Michael Susanto from the Bhakti Tanoto Foundation, Monday, (9/10) in the Rector’s Meeting Room, Undip Tembalang Campus.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes providing educational scholarships and leadership programs to students, research funding support for students and lecturers, community service programs, and other forms of activities agreed by the parties.

The Rector of Undip welcomed this collaboration and supported Tanoto educational scholarships for students.

“Undip’s principles are embodied in its pillars, namely justice, certainty, benefit and compassion. “Hopefully, this collaboration will provide benefits for all of us,” said Prof Yos.

On this occasion, Dr. J. Satrijo Tanudjojo, CEO of Global Tanoto Foundation, said that Tanoto is involved in building a superior generation and future solid leaders to contribute to bringing a positive impact to Indonesia.

“We would like to thank Undip for this collaboration, and we are always ready to help and hope that the collaboration will be more lasting. Apart from collaborating in the field of scholarships, we also collaborate in the field of research,” he said. (LW-Public Relations)
