On Friday, March 8th, 2024, Nusantara Capital Authority officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Diponegoro University. The signing occurred at the Senate Courtroom, Prof. Ir. Eko Budihardjo, M.Sc. Building, 3rd Floor.
Diponegoro University was the 6th selected state university to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with Nusantara Capital Authority (Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara). A few pointers in the memorandum were discussed, including the commitment to collaborate on education, research, and community service.
Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., the Rector of Diponegoro University, stated that the signing of this memo is Undip’s effort to support intensifying human dignity. “I welcome this signing delightedly as the vital purpose of it is to intensify human dignity,” said Prof. Yos.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos claimed that Undip is ready to cooperate with the Indonesian government to enhance education through Nusantara Capital construction. “This is part of Undip’s corporate spirit always to be the think tank of this country, whoever leads it. We are committed to developing education for the progress of the Indonesian nation,” said Prof. Yos.
The Head of Nusantara Capital Authority, Prof. (HC) Ir. Bambang Susantono, MCP, MSCE, Ph.D., revealed that the MoU signing was evidence of Undip’s participation in establishing Indonesia’s future.
“By signing this MoU, Undip will directly be on the track on how we carve the new future, new civilization. Not only by constructing Nusantara Capital but also transforming Indonesia in the future,” stated Prof. Bambang.
Prof. Bambang hopes that Undip and Nusantara Capital Authority could collaborate and innovate together in the future. “Through innovation and collaboration, we hope that Nusantara Capital Authority and Undip can form an inspirational academic setting and elevate beneficial research for regional and national growth.”
