A team of students from Diponegoro University (UNDIP) achieved a remarkable accomplishment on the national stage. The UNDIP student team, consisting of Clarisa Putri Maharani (Agribusiness, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences 2023), Fitra Ari Aditya (Biology, Faculty of Science and Mathematics 2021), and Andreas Bakara Sitanggang (Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business 2023), won second place in the Business Plan category at the AGTION: the 2024 Agriculture Competition, organized by the Faculty of Agriculture at the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” of East Java on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
Under the guidance of Annisa Firdauzi, S.P., M.P., a lecturer in the Agribusiness undergraduate program at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, the UNDIP student team secured second place in the Business Plan category with a score of 251.85. This achievement demonstrates that cross-disciplinary students at UNDIP can collaborate and achieve success on the national stage, enhancing UNDIP’s reputation in both academic and non-academic competitions.
AGTION: the 2024 Agriculture Competition, themed “Agricultural Transformation: Creative Solutions for the Agriculture 5.0 Era,” featured three categories: Scientific Writing, Business Plan, and Scientific Poster, with five sub-themes: Sustainable Agriculture, Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Processing, Urban Agriculture, and Digital Agriculture.
AGTION: the 2024 Agriculture Competition is a scientific competition organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” of East Java, in celebration of its 56th anniversary. The event aims to raise awareness and concern among the younger generation about agricultural issues, encouraging participants to think creatively and innovatively to address current agricultural challenges.
