Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) students have once again achieved a proud accomplishment. Michael Davin Andhika Putra, a student from the Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UNDIP, class of 2021, was awarded The Most Inspiring Movement at the 2024 Nutrifood Leadership Award (NLA).
At the awarding session held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Jakarta, Michael Davin Andhika Putra and his team, named Inclusivity, were announced as the winners of The Most Inspiring Movement. Inclusivity was chosen as the winner for its dedicated collaboration with Koneksi Indonesia Inklusif (KONEKIN) and its contribution to the social project KONEKIN X NLA Goes to School: Dream Beyond Limits – Inclusive Education for a Bright and Independent Future.
“In this project, we created an educational booklet called #SiapKuliah for high school students with disabilities, provided motivational talks at special needs schools, and conducted online sign language classes for the general public. This initiative reinforces that physical limitations are not barriers to continuing education and pursuing a brighter future. Moreover, it has created a positive and tangible social impact by opening up educational access for people with disabilities,” said Michael Davin Andhika Putra.
Besides Michael Davin Andhika Putra as the team leader, the Inclusivity team included Andara Cita Prianka (Universitas Brawijaya); I. G. Putu Farrell Aditya Kusuma (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember); Stefanie Mudita Karta (Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya); and Shintia Adiningsih (Petra Christian University).
According to Michael Davin, the Nutrifood Leadership Award serves as a platform for leadership training that prepares students to become future leaders with a deep understanding of social issues and the ability to create impactful solutions.
