UNDIP, Semarang (February 7) – Universitas Diponegoro held a workshop titled “Evaluation of UNDIP Repository and AI Training for Librarians and Library Managers at UNDIP” at the 4th-floor meeting room of the UNDIP Library Building.
In his opening remarks, Vice Rector for Human Resources, Information Technology, Law, and Organization, Prof. Dr. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T., emphasized that a university’s repository is a key indicator of its knowledge resources, with the library serving as the driving force behind this intellectual hub. He further stated that UNDIP’s library will continue to provide the best services for future generations and contribute to national intellectual development.
“The UNDIP Library is committed to enhancing and providing the best services for the academic community, including students, faculty, staff, and clients. As a state university with legal entity status (PTN-BH), UNDIP continues to improve its professionalism in serving its clients,” he said.
The workshop featured Suwondo, S.Hum., M.Kom., Head of the UNDIP Library and UNDIP Press, as the keynote speaker. He presented the role of AI in improving library services and how AI can support library activities and repository management.
“Through this training, we hope that librarians and library managers at UNDIP can actively contribute to supporting research and development at the university,” he concluded.
