Semarang- In an expression of solidarity and appreciation, Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) students from Diponegoro University (Undip) gave souvenirs to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Warsaw, Poland. The aim of providing these souvenirs is to symbolize the friendship between the Indonesian Embassy and Undip for the Indonesian Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange with Indonesian students studying in Poland.
This year, six students from Undip carried out the IISMA program in that country. Among them are Hafiya Cyantri Maheswari Nugroho (Law Study Program, Faculty of Law); Annisa Kayla Fathia (Law Study Program, Faculty of Law); Muhammad Dafa Maulana Setia (Law Study Program, Faculty of Law); Vinna Laurentia Winata (Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Mathematics); Grandson Tamaro Simanjuntak (Law Study Program, Faculty of Law); and Maximilianus Pramudya Krisna Murti (International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences).
On the occasion, one of the Undip students, Hafiya as she is familiarly called, expressed her gratitude for the dedication and hard work carried out by the Indonesian Embassy. “I would like to thank Mrs. H.E. Anita Lidya Luhulima, Indonesian Ambassador to Poland and her staff for their warm welcome to us, Undip students who will study in Poland.”
Meanwhile, in his speech, H.E. Anita Lidya Luhulima expressed her respect on behalf of the Indonesian Embassy in Poland to Undip. She hopes that this symbolic gift can become an impressive chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Undip and the Indonesian Embassy. “Hopefully, this symbolic gift will continue to strengthen the relationship between the Indonesian Embassy and Undip not only in the diplomatic field but also in the academic field on an ongoing basis,” she said.
