The future is yours! As the younger generation, we must be aware that time is running out, and the essence of time will definitely never be repeated. Youth is a time full of opportunities; therefore, use it wisely by learning lots of new things and establishing relationships with new people. “Never be afraid to try and dream! Dreams are goals. With discipline, perseverance, and great will, all of this will definitely be achieved,” said Adinda Karina Raihanadya Murtriandari, a graduate of the Geodetic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University (Undip) who was inaugurated at the Undip’s 173rd Graduation Ceremony.
Adinda Karina successfully passed the Undip entrance exam through the SBUB (Selection of Excellent Achievement Students) path, which encourages them to achieve excellence in bringing the campus to a good name at the national level. According to her, the most memorable experience while on campus was during the early days of college or what is usually called an introduction to campus, which taught many things, such as family and solidarity. Meanwhile, a memorable experience while outside campus was when she got the opportunity to be a representative of the alma mater at a national event, such as taking part in the National Student Sports Week (POMNAS), which she participated in in the last two years of college (2022 & 2023). I felt very moved and proud when I was able to wave the Undip’s flag on the podium.
The series of achievements recorded by Adinda as an athlete in the national level shot put sport include Gold Medal in Women’s Shot Put at PORWIL Sumatera XI (PON Qualification), Riau in 2023; Silver Medal in Shot Put for Women in Central Java Open 2023; Bronze Medal in Women’s Shot Put National Student Sports Week (POMNAS), South Kalimantan 2023; Women’s Shot Put Silver Medal National Student Sports Week (POMNAS), West Sumatera 2022; Bronze Medal in Women’s Shot Put Senior National Championship, Semarang 2022; Bronze Medal in Women’s Shot Put, XX National Sports Week, Papua 2021; PORWIL Sumatera XI Women’s Shot Put Gold Medal (PON Qualification), Bengkulu 2019; and Gold Medal in Women’s Shot Put National U-20 Championship, Cibinong 2019.
During her studies, she also actively participated in various organizations such as BPH IMGI (Indonesian Geodetic Students Association), serving as General Treasurer (2022-2023); The Geodetic Engineering Student Association serves as Chair of the Sports Division for Interests and Talents (2022); and Mapala SHERPA at Geodetic Engineering serves as Head of Internal Affairs (2022-2023).
