Muhammad Adel Hilmi Halwanu, a student of Business Administration at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (Undip), successfully brought home three awards from the Indonesian Youth Excursion Network (IYEN) Chapter event held on February 26-29, 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
IYEN is a program comprising various activities such as conferences, university visits to top campuses in Malaysia, presentations on innovation in the field of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), cultural exchange activities between Indonesia and Malaysia held at the Asian Art Museum, and visits to the Malaysia Tourism Center.
Adel secured three awards in this international program: First Place in Best Presentation, Third Place in Best Video Innovation, and Best Speaker. Adel also served as the team leader, motivating members to practice presentation skills for smooth public speaking and confidence.
“One of the interesting experiences I gained was conducting a conference at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), where I held the conference in a very proper room. During the conference, I discussed the correlation between Education and Politics in the current era and how the development of the Education World has evolved after the Industrial Revolution in the 1700s,” Adel expressed.
Adel hopes that the awards he has achieved can inspire other friends to become successful Undip students both nationally and internationally.
“Education and organization build a strong foundation for your future. By learning and engaging in organizations, you can develop valuable skills and networks. Don’t hesitate to pursue your dreams and contribute positively to society,” Adel concluded.
