After officially being inaugurated, President Prabowo Subianto announced the names of 48 ministers, 5 ministerial-level officials, and 56 deputy ministers who will support his administration alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka for the 2024-2029 period. The Cabinet, named the Merah Putih Cabinet, was introduced on Sunday evening (20/10) at the Istana Merdeka in Jakarta.
In the Merah Putih Cabinet of the Prabowo-Gibran administration, three Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) alumni have been appointed as ministers and deputy ministers.
The three UNDIP alumni are Abdul Kadir Karding, S.Pi., M.Si., from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) as Minister of Migrant Worker Protection/Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency; Ir. Diana Kusumastuti, M.T., from the Faculty of Engineering (FT) as Deputy Minister of Public Works; and Dr. Arif Havas Oegroseno, S.H., M.H., from the Faculty of Law (FH) as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
UNDIP Rector Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., expressed gratitude and pride in the appointment of three Universitas Diponegoro alumni to positions in the Indonesian Cabinet.
