Kendari, October 26, 2024 – Muhammad Nur Ardi Handayat, a Communication Science student at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), successfully won 1st Place in the Stand-Up Comedy Competition at the 15th Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI Expo) 2024. The competition, held from October 23-25, 2024, at Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari City, became a stage of achievement for both Ardi and UNDIP.
The KMI Expo is a prestigious event that brings together entrepreneurial students from across Indonesia. Organized by the Belmawa Dirjen Dikti Kemdikbud of the Republic of Indonesia, it serves as the culmination of the P2MW (Entrepreneurial Student Development Program). The event is not only a platform for competition and product exhibitions but also offers various activities such as entrepreneurship seminars, the KMI Award, business matching, and supporting competitions like Stand-Up Comedy, the Social Media Marketing Contest (SM2C), and the Poster Catalogue.
Muhammad Nur Ardi Handayat delivered an engaging performance with comedic material based on personal experiences and the challenges of entrepreneurship. His fresh and relevant humor successfully entertained the audience and judges alike. “This victory is not just about the award but also an opportunity to share laughter and inspiration,” said Ardi after being crowned the winner.
This achievement adds to Ardi’s list of accomplishments at the KMI Expo XV 2024, where he also led his team, BelajarSini.com, to secure 2nd Place in the Digital Business Category. The platform, developed alongside his teammates, offers a solution for people to learn how to create websites without needing to understand coding.
This success not only brought personal pride to Muhammad Nur Ardi Handayat but also elevated UNDIP’s name at the national level. He expressed his gratitude to his friends, mentors, faculty leaders, and the organizers of the P2MW and KMI Expo at UNDIP for their unwavering support throughout the competition process. “I dedicate this achievement to UNDIP and everyone who has supported me along the way,” Ardi said.
