The UNDIP athletes competed across a range of disciplines, including track and field, taekwondo, tennis, beach volleyball, swimming, basketball, badminton, chess, karate, pencak silat and indoor volleyball. Their skill and sportsmanship helped the university shine on the provincial stage.

Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, highly appreciated the student athletes, coaches and officials who have fought their best in the 2025 POMPROV Jateng. This success serves as motivation to continue improving achievements in the future and developing sports potential within the campus environment.

“Our achievements are more than just final results; they are proof of dedication, hard work and a strong team spirit. We are proud of these results and hope this fighting spirit and competitive drive will continue to blaze new trails at the national and international levels,” the UNDIP Rector said.

The success underscores UNDIP’s commitment not only to academic excellence but also to nurturing high-performance student athletes. Organizers hope these accomplishments will inspire other students to engage actively in sports and represent the university with pride in future competitions.

The POMPROV Jateng serves as a proving ground for university athletes across Jawa Tengah, developing talent for higher-level competitions such as the 19th National Student Sports Week (Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Nasional / POMNAS), scheduled for September 19–27, 2025, in Jawa Tengah Province.
