UNDIP Postgraduate School Successfully Hosts 10th ICENIS, Driving Innovation in Energy, Environment, and Information Systems for a Sustainable Future

UNDIP, Semarang (August 26, 2025) – The Postgraduate School of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) once again hosted the 10th International Conference on Energy, Environmental, and Information Systems (ICENIS 2025), carrying the theme “Innovative Pathways on Environmental and Energy Application Through Information System Development for a Sustainable Future.”

The annual international conference brought together experts, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss the latest developments in science and innovation in the fields of energy, environment, and information systems.

ICENIS 2025 marked its 10th edition this year with a series of activities, including plenary sessions, scientific discussions, parallel sessions, and the presentation of best paper and best presenter awards.

The event officially opened on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, with a lineup of activities starting from participant registration, the Indonesian national anthem, a joint prayer, and remarks from the ICENIS 2025 chairperson. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo, M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of the UNDIP’s Postgraduate School. The opening ceremony also featured a traditional dance performance by UNDIP’s student cultural organization.

This year’s conference presented several distinguished keynote speakers, including Ir. Dian Kusumastuti, Prof. Eusieok Nahm, Prof. Vincentius Surya Adi, Prof. Tonni Agustiono Kurniawan, Assoc. Prof. Ferry Jie, Ph.D., FCILT., FCES, Prof. Dr. Asrul Mahjuddin Ressang, and Dr. Niraj Lal. The speakers delivered insights on current topics related to energy and environmental applications through information system development.

Alongside plenary sessions, ICENIS 2025 also held parallel sessions as a platform for academics and researchers to present their findings. Interactive discussions provided opportunities for participants to exchange ideas and foster international collaboration.

The ICENIS 2025 concluded on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with the awarding of Best Paper and Best Presenter recognitions to honor researchers who made outstanding contributions.

The success of ICENIS 2025 reflected the Postgraduate School of Universitas Diponegoro’s commitment to advancing academic contributions toward sustainable development in line with UNDIP’s vision of “Noble and Valuable UNDIP” and the Ministry’s program called Diktisaintek Berdampak.
