UNDIP, Semarang (July 28, 2025) – The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) and INTI International University launched an international collaboration through the 2025 Bilateral PSYCHE program, themed “Ignite the Passion, Spark the Curiosity.” The initiative allows 20 psychology students from UNDIP to study for 14 days at INTI International University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 7–14, 2025, followed by a reciprocal visit of INTI students to UNDIP from July 28 to August 10, 2025.
The opening of the 1st Bilateral PSYCHE at UNDIP’s Faculty of Psychology was held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. in classrooms 301 and 302. The event began with the Indonesian national anthem, followed by a video presentation of the faculty profile and a traditional dance performance, Geol Denok, by the faculty’s student cultural group, Independence.
Costrie Ganes Widayanti, S.Psi., M.Si.Med., Ph.D., Chair of the Bilateral PSYCHE 2025 committee, said the theme emphasizes the importance of strong determination to achieve goals despite challenges, and the curiosity that drives participants to explore ideas and innovations for the advancement of knowledge that benefits human well-being. She noted that participants would gain academic and non-academic experiences, engage in social and learning activities, and enrich their perspectives through cross-cultural exchange.
Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Dean of the UNDIP’s Faculty of Psychology, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of international collaboration as a way to broaden students’ horizons. She expressed hope that the Bilateral PSYCHE program would further strengthen existing partnerships, particularly in developing faculty and student potential, expanding international networks, and fostering cross-cultural experiences.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiyanto, S.T., M.Sc., IPU, Director of Reputation, Partnerships, and Global Connectivity at Universitas Diponegoro, also delivered remarks and officially opened the program.
