UNDIP, Semarang (November 11, 2025) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) is set to launch its latest application, ‘GENTAYU’, short for Gerbang Edukasi dan Teknologi Andalan Universitas Diponegoro (Universitas Diponegoro’s Premier Education and Technology Gateway). This integrated platform is designed to simplify students’ access to a wide range of academic and administrative services. The new application was officially developed by the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology at UNDIP.
The application is designed as a one-stop digital service portal for students to meet their academic and administrative needs — a manifestation of UNDIP’s commitment to enhancing the quality of academic services and facilitating access to information for its students.
GENTAYU features several key functions, including:
- Online attendance
- Class schedules
- Academic performance reports
- UNDIP library collections
- UNDIP news
- Student achievements
- A ‘Lapor’ menu to report incidents occurring on campus
This application enables students to perform various online activities, including viewing class schedules, downloading course registration and grade reports (KRS and KHS), tracking attendance, and receiving real-time official campus updates.
Information accessible through the GENTAYU app includes library collections, student achievements, and incident reports. It also provides updates related to study programs, student admissions, and monthly news. For UNDIP students, accessing the platform is easy — log in using their UNDIP SSO email account. Meanwhile, the general public can log in with a Gmail account, though with limited access to features.
UNDIP’s Vice Rector for Human Resources, Technology, Information, Law, and Organization, Prof. Dr. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T., stated that the app’s launch marks a tangible step in the university’s digital transformation, aimed at meeting the demands of technology-driven higher education.
“As a world-class university, Universitas Diponegoro is committed to delivering services that are fast, transparent, and easily accessible. This application was developed to support a modern higher education ecosystem and to encourage students to manage their academic activities wisely and efficiently,” said Prof. Adian.
The GENTAYU (Gerbang Edukasi dan Teknologi Andalan Universitas Diponegoro) application is available for download on both Android and iOS smartphones. (Public Communication/UNDIP/Ut)
