UNDIP, Semarang (25/2) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) collaborated with OPPO to present the “Buka Bersama OPPO” program as part of the Make Your Moment #1Day1Kindness campaign. The event was held at Prof. Sudarto, S.H. Building as a form of social care for students during the month of Ramadan.
The Director of Student Affairs and Alumni of UNDIP, Edy Surahmad, S.Pd., M.Si., stated that the activity was an OPPO initiative carried out at various universities across Indonesia, and that, in Central Java, UNDIP became the first university to host the program.
“Alhamdulillah, this afternoon we carried out a collaboration with OPPO as part of their concern for UNDIP students through the distribution of takjil (fast-breaking snacks). The students’ enthusiasm was very high. A total of 1,500 takjil packages were distributed in a short time after the announcement was made,” he said.
He added that UNDIP appreciates OPPO’s initiative, which aligns with the university’s efforts to organize meaningful activities for students, especially during Ramadan. UNDIP also hopes that this collaboration can continue and expand into other forms of partnership that provide broader benefits.
The Make Your Moment program is an OPPO sharing initiative that has entered its second year. After previously being held in Jakarta, the program has expanded to various major cities in Indonesia, including Semarang. Make Your Moment encourages people to create moments of kindness. Ramadan is considered the right time to share and strengthen togetherness.
Through this activity, OPPO aims to engage directly with the community, including students. Through the Make Your Moment initiative, UNDIP reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the values of togetherness, social care, and collaboration with industry partners to deliver positive-impact programs for the academic community. Moving forward, it is hoped that collaboration with OPPO will not be limited to social activities during Ramadan but will continue and develop into other forms of cooperation that provide sustainable benefits for students, such as scholarship support, internship programs, and other collaborative initiatives.
