In addition, variations of shot taken such as wide shot, medium shot, close up, and medium long shot need to be used appropriately so that the video is able to answer the main information element visually.
`Participants also gain reinforcement regarding the concept of “one person, multi output”, an approach that is relevant for public communication managers in work units. In field practice, one person often has to take pictures, write captions, edit videos, and prepare content distribution. Therefore, the ability to read activity values, determine content formats, understand audience behavior, and choose publication channels are becoming increasingly important skills.
This training is wrapped with a practice session, where participants directly take pictures based on the shot list and edit the video using simple devices such as smartphones. This approach provides an applicative experience so that it can be directly applied in their respective work units.
This activity is part of UNDIP’s commitment to improve the ability of public communication coordinators to be the vanguard in presenting digital content that is not only visually attractive, but also strong in substance, so that it can strengthen the image of the university as an adaptive, innovative, and impactful institution for the wider community.
