About 15 thousand people visited the Stadium Area of Undip Tembalang, Semarang, on Tuesday (1/10) night. They enthusiastically attended the Undip Bersholawat event that features Maulana Al-Habib Syech bin Abdul Qodir Assegaf, which was held as one of a series of the 62nd Undip Anniversary.
Students and Syekher Mania (Fan Community of Al Habib Syekh Bin Abdul Qadir Asseggaf) from various regions around Central Java, are enthusiastically recites the sholawat, and continued with accompaniment of Hadroh from Ahbabul Musthofa with the sholawat.
The event were attended by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Central Java, Dr. Ir. Sri Puryono Karto Soedarmo MP, Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., And a number of Central Java’s ulama.
In the remarks, Prof. Yos Johan conveyed the purpose of the Undip Bersholawat event was to provide a breeze composition in Indonesia. “The purpose of holding this Sholawat is to bring a breeze to our surroundings. If Undip is full of breeze, hopefully the Central Java may also pick the merit, as well as Indonesia as a whole. We don’t have to argue anymore. Let we gather in Dhikrullah together and recites sholawat.” He said.
According to him, the Undip Bersholawat event is indeed an annual event organized by Undip. However, the main purpose of this event is to bring positive spirit. “The spirit of Undip as a scientific institution is to bring positive spirit, a holy spirit, as a place for people who seek knowledge. “Students always develop in the Rahmatan lil ‘alamin nature because that is the essence of this education,” said Prof. Yos Johan.
