Semarang, January 10th, 2020 on Friday, the director, lecturers, employees, and students had a joint activity in gymnastic and trees plantation in front of the Industrial Engineering Building in Undip Campus, Tembalang. This joint gymnastic became a routine activity that was always held every Friday, which aimed to strengthen work relationships and to maintain health in increasing morale and productivity.
In his speech, Vice-Rector for Academic and Students, Prof. Budi Setiyono said, “One of our primary agendas in 2020 is preparing Undip to take part both nationally and internationally.” He also added, “We hope that the lecturers and the students are preparing at least one or two activities for the international level, whether as a participant or committee.”
The planting tree was done as a symbolization for inaugurating the Faculty of Engineering garden, which was done by Vice-Rector for Academic and Students, Prof. Budi Setiyono and the Dean of Faculty.
Meanwhile, the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Prof. M. Agung Wibowo said, “This garden is made for the students for relaxing and relieving stress. This garden can be enjoyed by not only students from the Faculty of Engineering but also students from all of the faculty in Undip. It is hoped that they can use this facility rightly.”
