“Personal Protection Equipment aid or APD in the context of overcoming the Covid-19 epidemic is without a doubt, very helpful to Diponegoro National Hospital, Diponegoro University in particular as well as to other hospitals. “We welcome and express our gratitude for the given assistance” said Diponegoro University Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, SH. M.Hum during the handover of APD Assistance from the Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture at the Central Laboratory of RSND Undip-Tembalang block (29/5).The Rector hopes for Undip to deliver new scientists in the field of viruses to research and assist in dealing with outbreaks.
In his remarks, Deputy Chair of the House of Representatives Commission X in Education, Sports, Tourism and Creative Economy, Agustina Wilujeng, SS., MM said that the Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture provided Personal Protective Equipment (APD) assistance in the form of Gown Cover All, Boots, masks and gloves to 14 hospitals in Central Java. In distributing the APD assistance, the Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture appointed Diponegoro National Hospital (RSP UNDIP) Semarang to help in channeling the assistance to the other hospitals that supposed to receive the assist. In line with Undip Rector, Agustina Wilujeng also hopes that Undip may become a research center for viruses and bacteria.
The hospitals that receives the Personal Protective Equipment (APD) assistance are the Nahdlotul Ulama Islamic Hospital in Demak Regency, Sunan Kalijaga Regional General Hospital, Demak Regency, Regional General Hospital Dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus Regency, RA Kartini Regional General Hospital, Jepara Regency, Kelet Regional General Hospital, Jepara Regency, Kraton Regional General Hospital, Pekalongan Regency, Kajen Regional General Hospital, Pekalongan Regency, Dr. Regional General Hospital Dr. H Soewondo Kendal Regency, Semarang City Tugurejo General Hospital, Wongsonegoro KRMT Regional Hospital Semarang City, Ambarawa Regional Hospital Semarang Regency, Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang City, KRT Setjonegoro Regional General Hospital Wonosobo Regency and Diponegoro National Hospital (RSP Undip) Semarang City.
