The signing of MoU by Rector of Undip with Rector of St. Paul University Philippines

Semarang – Diponegoro University (Undip) officially held a collaboration with St. Paul University Philippines, on Thursday (03/06) at 10:00 AM.  Since we are still in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, this activity is held virtually through Zoom meeting application.

This collaboration is marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., with Rector of St. Paul University Philippines, Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC. The event is followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by Dean of Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. dr. Dwi Pudjonarko, M.Kes., Sp.S.(K)., with Dean of Faculty of Medicine, St. Paul University Philippines, Dr. Geraldine Ramirez.

Cooperation between these two universities include cooperation in the fields of education and research, as well as exchange of lecturers and staffs. It is hoped this cooperation can advance the development of two universities in the fields of scientific research, education, and learning more about other cultures.

These MoU and MoA are in line with the vision of Diponegoro University to become an excellent research university. “Our vision to be the World Class Research University drives us to make more international collaboration with universities specifically in Asia which are Undip’s main partners. One of our partners is Saint Paul University in Philippines,” said Undip Rector in his speech.

“I hope the signing of this MoU will be beneficial for all. Hopefully this cooperation will bring good results and more opportunities to work together,” he continued. (Dhany-PR)
