Semarang – Online Independent Exam of Prospective Undergraduate Students held by Diponegoro University enters its 7th day. From monitoring to the implementation of the exam until the seventh day on Sunday (27/6/2021), the attendance rate of online exam participants per day is on average of 85 percent. “This shows that the interest of participants to be accepted at Diponegoro University is still very high,” said Dr. Ir. Setia Budi Sasongko, DEA who is currently the Head of Education Quality Assurance and Development Institute (Lembaga Pengembangan dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan / LP2MP) Undip, in his statement while supervising the online exam on Sunday (27/6/2021).
He further explained that this exam was attended by 32,064 participants, which were divided into 2 specializations. There are 18,907 participants of Science and Technology fields and 13,157 participants of Social and Humanities fields. More than 3,200 participants take online exam per day which is divided into 3 sessions.
This online exam is the first exam in 2021 to use the CAT (Computer Assisted Test) application. Starting from registration to conducting online exam, the processes are using a system designed by the Undip IT team. The process starts by creating an account to register for the exam. Then the participants will get a participant number and exam schedules.
The exam is held for 10 days on June 21st – July 2nd 2021. The online exam runs for 2 hours, but participants and supervisors must join Zoom application 30 minutes before the exam starts for preparation including checking participant identity, tutorials and reading the exam rules by supervisors. During the exam, participants are required to turn on the camera to be monitored by the supervisors.
In the Academic Year of 2021/2022, Diponegoro University accepts new students through the Independent Exam for 51 Undergraduate Study Programs. It consists of 34 Science and Technology Study Programs and 17 Social and Humanities Study Programs. The selection results of Online Independent Exam of Prospective Undergraduate Students will be announced on July 7th 2021. (Utami-PR)
