Undip Vocational School Collaborated with the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Semarang City

The Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Semarang City held a collaboration with Undip Vocational School regarding the activities of Tri Dharma of Higher Education which include education, research, and community service, especially in the field of Land and Spatial Planning, on Tuesday (12/10), at the 4th Floor of Meeting Room in Undip Vocational School Building, Tembalang.
The purpose of this cooperation agreement is to assist the implementation of programs and activities of the Semarang City Government, especially in the field of Land and Spatial Planning.
The Dean of Undip Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si said that the objective of the learning process at the Vocational School is to produce students who are ready to work. Vocational graduates have competence and expertise certification so that they are ready to enter the industrial world.
Prof. Budiyono added that the current collaboration is under the direction of the Minister directly to the study program because the Minister wanted the study program to directly cooperate with the business and industry worlds. Therefore link and match can be well established between the industrial world and campuses. This collaboration is hoped to provide benefits for both parties.
Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Semarang City, Dr. Bunyamin, M.Pd., welcomed and appreciated this collaboration. Bunyamin hoped that this collaboration will go well and be mutually beneficial for both parties because universities are one of the strategic partners in advancing the city of Semarang through various researches.
