UNDIP Prepared More than 34,000 Seats for 2022 UTBK

The results of the 2022 SNMPTN were just announced on Tuesday (29/3/2022) at 03:00 PM by the Institution of University Entrance Exams (LTMPT). According to information from the Head of LTMPT, Mochamad Ashari quoted from detik.com, out of 612,049 registrants, 120,643 students passed the 2022 SNMPTN. Furthermore, Ashari explained that 109,276 students were accepted in the 1st choice study program of the 612,049 participants of 2022 SNMPTN 2022 . As many as 11,367 students were accepted in the 2nd choice study program out of 520,853 participants.

“For participants who have not passed the 2022 SNMPTN path, don’t be discouraged, there are still many opportunities to enter state universities on other paths. The UTBK path will be opened soon, registration will start by choosing a study program for the 2022 SBMPTN path starting on March 23, 2022,” explained Prof. Faisal, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Undip Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs.

Furthermore, Prof. Faisal explained, “Currently, Undip has more than 2200 PCs that can be used for UTBK. According to the Covid-19 protocols, only half of these devices are used, about 1225 seats for UTBK. When the UTBK (Computer-Based Written Examination) was first implemented, Undip was among the largest providers of computers for the implementation of the UTBK. The number of seats for UTBK has exceeded the capacity set by LTMPT. All facilities belong to Undip (not in collaboration with other institutions).” In addition, the rooms used for the UTBK implementation located at the Undip campus in Tembalang and Pleburan are all air-conditioned, making it a comfortable and quiet space.

“As for important information that needs to be noted, for the UTBK phase 1, it will be held on May 17-23, 2022. UTBK phase 2 will be held on May 28 – June 3, 2022. The test will be held in the morning and afternoon, except for those who choose a hybrid study program. The total sessions for the 1st and 2nd phases of tests are 28 sessions (14 days)”, he concluded.
