Semarang (13/5) – Diponegoro University (Undip) continued to held an offline event after two years of a worldwide pandemic, one of which was preceded by the Flag Ceremony of 2022 National Education Day which was held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Field of Widya Puraya Building, Undip Tembalang at 07.00 AM. The event was attended by the Undip Rector, Vice Rectors, Chair of the Academic Senate, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Board of Professors, Deans of Faculties/Schools, and Undip officials.
The flag ceremony was marked by the raising of the Indonesian flag, the reading of the Pancasila text by the leader of the ceremony, and the reading of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M. Hum. as the leader of the ceremony read the speech of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in Commemoration of 2022 National Education Day.
Prof. Yos welcomed the presence of all representatives from various units in Undip who joined in this offline flag ceremony. “It is possible that next semester’s lectures will be held offline, hopefully everything will run smoothly,” said Prof. Yos.
In line with Minister Nadiem Anwar Makarim’s message to build a bright generation of Indonesia with independent learning for teachers and students, the Undip Rector also invited all Undip staff to improve the quality of work so as to create a conducive and productive teaching and learning atmosphere at Undip.
“As PTNBH our demands are getting bigger, let’s use Undip’s resources effectively and efficiently. All ranks of employees including lecturers and education staff play a joint role in maintaining the sustainability of Undip. Instill integrity as the form of love to Undip. Quality is the main indicator, work in accordance with applicable laws and procedures,” concluded Prof. Yos in his speech. (Titis – Public Relations)
