Semarang-Central Java (19/10). Entering the third day, the KTM photo taking and attributes distribution activities for new students for the 2022/2023 academic year went in an orderly and smooth manner. The photo taking of Student Identity Cards (KTM) and the distribution of attributes for new students including hats, alma mater coats and sports shirts were scheduled for 4 (four) days from Monday (17/10) to Thursday (20/10) in the Prof. Soedarto, SH Building, Undip Tembalang campus.
Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Faisal, SE., M.Si., Ph.D. in his interview with the PR team on Wednesday (19/10) said that he had scheduled the KTM photo taking and attributes distribution in the form of hats, alma mater coats, and sports shirts for new students for the 2022/2023 academic year starting on Monday (17/10).
“Alhamdulillah, the KTM photo taking and attributes distribution activities until the third day went in an orderly and smooth manner, although it was relatively crowded considering there were thousands of new students, but it was under control. Previously, we had conducted a simulation of KTM photo taking and attributes distribution activities which aimed to facilitate access to prevent exceeding queues,” explained Prof. Faisal.
“We have also considered the estimated service at each counter and room so that students don’t have to wait too long to get services. Although the internet network is a bit unstable but can be overcome. And most importantly, as a form of Undip’s concern for new students, we have prepared tents and chairs, so that students do not stand and feel comfortable sitting waiting for service. In addition, the space outside and inside the building is equipped with music that makes students more comfortable while waiting and being served,” he explained.
Ending the interview, Prof. Faisal advised new students to attend the activities according to a predetermined schedule and time by taking into account the requirements such as being advised to wear a dark colored top and hijab and always comply with health protocols. According to the schedule, Wednesday (19/10) is scheduled for new students from the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, and Faculty of Science and Mathematics. Service time starts at 08.00 AM to 03.00 PM. The complete schedules per study program can be accessed on https://bit.ly/ktmundip22 (Ut – Public Relations)
