In the framework of the 54th Anniversary, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Diponegoro University held a Scientific Oration for 9 New Doctors with the theme “Challenges and Opportunities of Social and Political Sciences in the Digital Transformation Era”, Thursday (22/12) in the FISIP Theater room, 1st floor of Building C. This Scientific Oration activity is intended as a form of institutional appreciation as well as a forum for new Doctors to disseminate research results and scientific thoughts and enrich studies that are relevant to their respective scientific fields.
“FISIP and all study programs are in great demand by the community, and hopefully it will also meet the expectations of the community regarding the capacities, abilities, competencies of each alumnus. The theme that was carried out at the 54th Anniversary of FISIP Undip is “Building a Nation with Work, Building a Country with Achievements”. “Let’s compete and achieve goals both nationally and internationally,” said the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Hardi Warsono, M.T. in his speech.
“In the future, this activity will become a superior academic tradition and a hallmark of FISIP Undip and will further support the realization of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. We hope that the results will benefit stakeholders, academics, students, practitioners, and the wider community,” continued Dr. Hardi.
The nine new doctors who presented scientific orations included Dr. Dra. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, Bogasari Flour Mills Division)); Teuku Afrizal, Ph.D. from the Department of Business Administration (with the theme Beyond Community-Based Solid Waste Management: A Development Studies Perspective); Dr. Nunik Retno Herawati, S.Sos., M.Si. from the Department of Political and Governance Sciences (with the theme Leadership and Management of Legal Entity State Universities); Wijayanto, Ph.D. from the Department of Political and Governance Sciences (with the theme Oligarchy, Economic Inequality and Our Political Imagination); Bangkit Aditya Wiryawan, S.Sos., M.A. from the Department of Political and Governance Sciences (with the theme Decentralization Policy Dynamics and Their Impact on Industrial Sector Productivity); Dr. Triyono Lukmantoro, S.Sos., M.Si. from the Department of Communication Science (with the theme of Propaganda Narratives on Social Media: Small Stories Study of Jokowi Supporting Facebook Groups (Pakde Jokowi) and Prabowo Supporting Facebook Groups (Prabowo for NKRI) in the 2019 Presidential Election Campaign); Dr. Andi Wijayanto, S.Sos., M.Si. from the Department of Business Administration (with the theme Competitive Advantage and Dynamic Capabilities of the Manufacturing Industry in Indonesia); Dr. Priyotomo, S.Sos., M.M. from the Department of Business Administration (with the theme Digital Transformation in Family Support Career Achievement in VUCA Situations); Dr. Sari Listyorini, S.Sos., M.AB. from the Department of Business Administration (with the theme The Influence of Religiosity on Fashion Involvement, Fashion Knowledge, Customer Perceived Value, Consumer Satisfaction, and Patronage Intention).
