Semarang-Central Java (17/09). Proud achievements at the international level were successfully achieved by students of Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang who are members of the Capture Project Team. This time, the excellent achievement was achieved by students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences Undip consist of Pranata Candra Perdana Putra (Capture Fisheries, 2019), Zahwatul Ulla (Capture Fisheries, 2019), Tegar Indera Hidayat (Capture Fisheries, 2020), in collaboration with the students of the Faculty of Engineering Undip, Fauzan Rafi Miraj (Electrical Engineering, 2019), Akhrim Oktaviano (Electrical Engineering, 2019), Muhammad Naufal Azizi (Mechanical Engineering, 2019), as well as a student of the Faculty of Humanities, Cindy Nurochmah (English Department, 2019). They successfully won silver medals in the category of agriculture, livestock, horticulture, aquaculture, and fisheries at the 2022 Indonesia Inventors Day event at Udayana University, Bali.
2022 Indonesia Inventors Day is an event organized by the Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA). INNOPA is an association engaged in the field of development and innovation in Indonesia. INNOPA was formed as a liaison for Indonesian innovators in showing their innovative ideas and products to the international level.
The Capture Project Team made a prototype of a portable fish calling device that uses three types of attractors, namely sound, light and coconut leaves. The use of this attractor is adjusted to the behavior of the target fish caught, so that it is expected to be able to increase the catch of fishermen. The Capture Project Team hopes that this tool can be developed in such a way that fishermen can make the best use of it.
The achievements of the Capture Project Team could not have been separated from the support and assistance of Kukuh Eko Prihantoko, S.Pi., M.Si. as their supervisor. Various guidance and evaluations are carried out so that the students are able to reach the top positions in various fields, especially in the field of research.
