IISMA UNDIP Students Become Audience in an Event with the Indonesian Ambassador in the Netherlands

In order to achieve its vision as a World Class University, Diponegoro University (Undip) plays an active role in supporting the internationalization activities of its students. In 2022, more than 50 Undip students will receive Student Exchange Scholarships in the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program. This program is intended for students from both academic (S1) and vocational (Applied) undergraduate programs to undergo exchange programs at various universities around the world.

On November 12 2022, IISMA Undip students with a Host University in the Netherlands attended a joint meeting with the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands. The two student representatives are Athar Raihan Muhammad and Bella Komara. Besides attending meetings as invited guests, these student representatives also served as master of ceremonies (MC) during the process activities.

The IISMA Awardees were warmly welcomed by the H.E Mayerfas Embassy and the Attache for Education and Culture, Mr. Agus Setiabudi. After the welcoming ceremony, the Dutch IISMA Awardees Chapter held discussions and monitored developments during the 3 months they had been in the Netherlands. The event then continued with the handing over of the souvenir to the Dutch Ambassador by Athar Raihan Muhammad. At the end of the event, this meeting was closed with a photo session and dinner together at the Embassy Office. (AM-AS)
