Diponegoro University received 4,026 prospective new students for the Undergraduate Program and Diploma Program through the 2023 Test-Based National Selection (SNBT) out of 54,018 applicants. The results of the 2023 SNBT have been announced through the official portal of the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) on Tuesday (20/6/2023) starting at 15.00 WIB. The announcement of the results of the 2023 SNBT was published on the main page for information on the 2023 SNBT results: https://pengumuman-snbt-snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id/. In addition to the SNPMB main page, the SNBT announcements can be accessed on 37 mirror pages for the announcement of the 2023 SNBT selection results.
SNBT stands for Test-Based National Selection, a selection based on the results of computer-based Scholastic Test scores. The materials tested in the SNBT are the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and the Literacy Test, which consist of seven materials, namely: general reasoning ability; quantitative ability; general knowledge and understanding; ability to understand reading and writing; mathematical reasoning; Indonesian literacy; and English literacy.
As the UTBK Undip Central Coordinator, Dr. Paramita Prananintyas, S.H., LLM, congratulated the participants who passed and were accepted as prospective new Undip students. “We are proud to be accepted at Diponegoro University, the number one campus where graduates quickly find jobs according to the QS WUR Graduate Employability Rankings for 2021 and 2022,” said Dr. Paramita.
Furthermore, she revealed the favorite majors that are in great demand. For the Social Humanities program, the majors that are in great need, namely the Psychology study program, are ranked number 1 with 3,617 applicants, followed by the Law study program with 3,285 applicants, the Management study program with 2,503 applicants, the Communication Science with 2,063 applicants, and the Accounting study program with 2,017 applicants.
For the Science and Technology program, the Medicine study program is still the favorite with 3,133 applicants, followed by the Informatics study program with 1,979 applicants, the Public Health study program with 1,946 applicants, the Nursing Science study program with 1,676 applicants, and the Civil Engineering study program with 1,469 applicants.
Diponegoro University was conducting a National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) for Undergraduate and Diploma IV programs through three main paths. The selection paths include National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), Test-Based National Selection (SNBT), and Independent Examination (UM).
