UNDIP Rector: Uphold Integrity and Provide the Best Service

Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip) Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., officially inaugurated officials and appointed permanent Undip Non-State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees within Undip on Monday (07/08) at 09.00 WIB at the 3rd Floor Hall of the PKM (Prof. Purwahid Patrik, S.H.) Building, Faculty of Law, Undip Tembalang Campus. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Undip Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties and Schools, guests, as well as Undip Non-ASN Officials and Permanent Employees who were inaugurated.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Decree (SK) of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number: 1/UN7.A/KP/VIII/2023 to Number: 3/UN7.A/KP/VIII/2023 concerning the Appointment of the Director of the Diponegoro National Hospital, Chairman and Secretary of Study Programs at Diponegoro University was read. The reading was followed by a Decree of the Rector of Diponegoro University Numbers: 17 to 77/UN7.A/KP/VII/2023, and Numbers: 78 to 145/UN7.A2/KP/VII/2023, and Number: 155/UN7.A/KP/VII/2023 concerning the Appointment of Permanent Undip Non-State Civil Apparatus (ASN) Employees.

The oath of office was taken by the Undip Rector, accompanied by clergy according to their respective religions and beliefs. Next was the signing of the Employee Oath Minutes by the Undip Rector and Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. and Drs. Mulyo Padmono as witnesses.

A total of 6 (six) Undip officials were appointed. They took the oath, consisting of 2 (two) people holding positions at the Diponegoro National Hospital (RSND) and 4 (four) people holding positions at the Faculty of Medicine. Positions at Diponegoro National Hospital (RSND) include Director of Finance and Human Resources and Director of General and Operations. Meanwhile, positions at the Faculty of Medicine include Chair of the Dentist Professional Education Study Program, Chair of the Dentistry Undergraduate Study Program, Secretary of the Dentist Professional Education Study Program, and Secretary of the Dentistry Undergraduate Study Program.

Apart from that, 130 permanent Undip non-ASN employees were appointed and took the oath today, including employees from the Faculty of Law (5), Faculty of Economics and Business (12), Faculty of Engineering (19), Faculty of Medicine (9), Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (8), Faculty of Humanities (10), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (9), Faculty of Science and Mathematics (12), Faculty of Public Health (3), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (2), Faculty of Psychology ( 3), Postgraduate Schools (4), and Vocational Schools (10).

Then, the positions of Education Development and Quality Assurance Institute (1), Study Program Management Agency Outside the Main Campus (2), Commercial Business Management and Risk Analysis Agency (2), Academic and Student Affairs Bureau (1), General Administration and Finance Bureau (8), Diponegoro National Hospital (9), and UPT Safety, Occupational Health and Environment (1).

Starting his speech, Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., congratulated all Undip Non-ASN Officials and Employees who were appointed and took the oath today. Prof. Yos emphasized that the oath taken was a responsibility and trust that needed to be maintained by continuing to improve excellent service to students and the community.

“To Undip Non-ASN Employees and Heads of Study Programs, please continue to improve services to students and the quality of their study programs. Then, the Director of Finance and Human Resources, as well as the Director of General and Operations of Diponegoro National Hospital, are also expected to continue to improve services to the community. “The strength of the hospital is not the medicine or doctors, but the spirit of the service so that it becomes a pleasant and joyful service,” explained Prof. Yos.

The Rector invited all officials and employees within Undip to maintain their integrity. “Our highest crown is not position, but the highest crown is integrity. Integrity is proof of our faith in God Almighty,” he said. (Dhany/Nadella – Public Relations)
