Semarang-Central Java (15/10). Diponegoro University has once again made achievements and established itself as an excellent and classy research university. It is proven that 6 (six) Undip researchers are included in the ranks of world researchers in the 2023 Top 2 Percent Scientists Worldwide published by Stanford University and Elsevier. The publicly available database contains the most cited scientists providing standard information on citations, h-index, hm-index adjusted for co-authors, authorities to papers with different authorship positions, and combined indicators (c-scores).
John PA Ioannidis of Stanford University wrote the list of the top 2 percent of scientists in the world. This edition is the fifth edition of the article “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators,” published by Elsevier on October 4, 2023.
The database groups scientists into 22 scientific fields and 174 scientific subfields based on the standard Science-Metrix classification. Selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists based on c-scores (with and without self-citations) or percentile rankings of two percent or more in a given subfield.
