Jeremy Rafael Santoso Makes UNDIP Proud with His Swimming Achievements

Jeremy Rafael Santoso, a student at the Faculty of Psychology, Diponegoro University, has made various achievements in swimming championships. In the swimming championship between students from Indonesia XI in Makassar, which was held from September 30 to October 1, 2023, Jeremy successfully won medals. He won 2 gold medals in the 100m and 200m breaststroke swimming category, 1 silver medal in the 50m breaststroke swimming category, and 1 silver medal in the 4x50m free mix relay swimming category.

There are so many well-known major championship events that have been participated in at the national level. Prior to that, Jeremy also managed to become a 2nd place winner in the Men’s 100m breaststroke swimming category at the XVI Central Java Provincial Sports Week, which was held on August 7, 2023.

The achievements he has achieved do not make him forget his responsibilities as a student. Jeremy remains active in studying and doing exercises as a form of preparation to represent Undip and Central Java in the upcoming XVIII Indonesian Student Sports Week in Banjarmasin.

“At Undip, I gained a lot of knowledge to prepare for the future. The lecturers at the Faculty of Psychology really help students in transferring knowledge, getting to know themselves and supporting preparation for a better future,” he said.

“We, the younger generation, should not underestimate education and organizations because both are very important as our means of achieving the future,” concluded Jeremy. (LW/Sudanta – Undip Public Relations)
