Collaboration with nearby countries is an important thing to do to establish cooperation between both parties. In order to increase and strengthen cooperation, the delegation from Undip, namely the Dean of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, have succeeded in obtaining an agreement as stated in a letter of intent with the Dean of INHART International Islamic University Malaysia. This collaboration is an inter-faculty program specifically to organize collaboration in the field of publications as well as staff and student exchanges.
On the occasion of signing this agreement, the Vice Rector for Research and Cooperation also witnessed the signing process and carried out a discussion process to discuss program plans for the coming year.
Collaborations that can be carried out next year include holding international seminars together with the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences and the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, organizing summer programs, and staff exchanges. Another program that will be carried out next year is a post-doctoral program, which will be attended by doctoral graduates from IIUM, especially from the Faculty of Economics and Business.
On this occasion, a program was also agreed to carry out research on food supply from livestock in order to obtain halal food products. For this reason, collaboration between the three faculties, even with other faculties at Undip, must be well established in order to achieve the common goals of both parties.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambariyanto, M.Sc., Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Cooperation, Prof. Suharnomo (Dean of FEB), Prof. Tri Winarni Agustini (Dean of FPIK), Prof. Bambang WHEP (Dean of FPP), and Undip WCU task force team Ahmad Ni’matullah Al-Baarri, Ph.D. were present at the event in strengthening collaboration and following up on this collaboration.
