Undip Education Exhibition at the 2023 Sukabumi Mini Expo Event

Diponegoro University (Undip), through the Education Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP2MP), participated in the Education Exhibition at the Sukabumi Mini Expo Event. This initiative was Undip’s breakthrough in increasing the interest of registrants in the southern part of West Java. This event was carried out for 2 days, on November 29-30, 2023, starting from 07.00 to 15.00 WIB.

On the first day, the Mini Expo Event was held in the Hall of SMA Hayatan Thayyibah Sukabumi, attended by 6 schools, including SMA Hayatan Thayyibah Sukabumi, SMAN 4 Sukabumi, SMAN 5 Sukabumi, SMAN 2 Sukabumi, SMA Mardiyuana Sukabumi, and SMAN 3 Sukabumi. Furthermore, on the second day, the Mini Expo moved to the Hall of SMA Insan Cendekia Al Kausar Sukabumi, followed by 9 schools, namely SMA Insan Cendekia Al Kausar Sukabumi, SMAN 1 Cibadak, SMAN 1 Cicurug, SMAN 1 Parung Kuda, SMAN 1 Cidahu, SMAN Parakansalak, SMA AR Rahman Boarding School, SMA Al Bayan Sukabumi, and SMA Atiqiyah Sukabumi.

The event opened with remarks from the Principal of each school, followed by a presentation of the profile of each college in the school hall. Undip sent a Socialization and Promotion team consisting of 5 people to provide comprehensive information and knowledge. Undip’s Socialization and Promotion Team explained the selection path for new student admissions, education costs, study programs at the undergraduate level, facilities and advantages that Undip has.

Supervising teachers and high school students were very enthusiastic about visiting the Undip stand, as seen from the various questions asked, starting from the Scholarship Program, profiles of graduates and the material that will be studied during lectures.

Undip Socialization and Promotion Team provides excellent service by providing informative answers and explanations for every question asked. The Undip Socialization and Promotion Team also explained in detail the profile of Diponegoro University, which includes study program options, facilities, service applications, location access, university achievements, student activity units, and scholarship programs. Not only that, but the Undip Socialization Team also included small games that succeeded in increasing the enthusiasm of the Sukabumi Mini Expo participants.

The main objective of Undip’s participation in this event is to introduce Undip to high school students participating in the Sukabumi Mini Expo Event, as well as to motivate them to choose study programs that suit their interests and potential. Undip’s successful participation in this event not only created awareness of the diversity of study programs and the excellence of the university but also provided positive encouragement to high school students to step into the world of higher education with greater confidence and understanding.
