Laksmi, Undip Graduate with Vocal Arts Achievement

“Education is important to make us think more broadly. Education gives us knowledge about the world around us and changes it for the better. Through education, individuals can develop their potential, acquire necessary skills, and become contributing members of society. However, organizations are also important during college because by joining organizations, we can improve our quality. Joining an organization can help students fill their free time during college with useful activities because organizations often hold activities such as seminars, workshops, or social events. It makes us busy but fun,” said Laksmi Kinanthi, a graduate of Diponegoro University Vocational School who was inaugurated at Diponegoro University’s 172nd graduation ceremony.

“Aside from studying, I also participate in organizations and carry out research and service with lecturers in the Department of Information and Public Relations as well as lecturers in the Department of Communication Sciences. In terms of competition, I once took part in Peksiminas or the National Student Arts Week for vocal groups with the Undip Choir (PSM Undip) and auditioning for Indonesian idols. The achievements I achieved were 2nd place in Women’s Vocal Singles at the Diponegoro Art Competition, 2nd place in Women’s Vocal Singles at the Vokasi Art, and getting the opportunity to perform at the annual meeting of the Supreme Court with PSM Undip,” said the graduate with a GPA of 3.88.

According to Kinan, studying at Undip has been her dream since childhood. Undip is extraordinary, especially being able to get to know and grow with good friends, loyal friends like your own family, taught by great lecturers, and always encouraging students to continue to develop. Having the opportunity to join the PSM Undip Student Activity Unit is something to be proud of. (LW-Undip PR team)
