The Dipo Hub Building is one of the facilities provided by Diponegoro University for all Undip academics and the community as a place to gather, collaborate and be creative. The building, which is located on Jl. Prof. Sudarto Tembalang carries the theme “Connected by Food, Music, And Games” and is expected to be a comfortable place to eat while enjoying music and playing games. The Dipo Hub Building was inaugurated directly on Friday (10/11) by Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum.
In his speech, the Rector said that Dipo Hub must have a business side in order to make many people prosperous, which requires money. Prof. Yos hopes that Dipo Hub can be a blessing program, providing benefits to many people, absorbing workers, and instilling good values in society.
“It is hoped that Dipo Hub will be able to become a productive unit because when it trickles down to students in need, that is where the real Jariyah charity is,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Business and Commercial Enterprise Management and Risk Analysis Agency, Dwi Cahyo Utomo S.E, M.A, Ph.D., said that the name Dipo Hub is the lifeblood of the building, which is a symbol of the synergistic and dynamic movement of the Undip academic community.
“This building is named Dipo Hub, ‘Dipo’ represents the Undip academic community, and ‘Hub’ is the central part of the wheel that continues to roll stably. Everything will move and run with the ‘Hub.’ Dipo Hub is aimed not only at doing business but also at value creation; that value is Undip’s valuable property,” he explained.
