Diponegoro University (Undip) held an official inauguration ceremony and took the oath of office on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the SA-MWA Building Hall, Undip Tembalang campus. The Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum led the event. The Vice Rectors, Dean of Faculties/Schools, all leaders within Undip, and appointed officials attended the event.
The Official Inauguration Ceremony and Taking the Oath of Office began with the reading of a copy of the Decree of the Undip Rector regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Heads of Departments, Chairs and Secretaries of Study Programs, Managers and Supervisors within Diponegoro University and a copy of the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the First Appointment in Functional Positions of Skilled Education Laboratory Staff, Skilled Nurse, and Skilled Medical Recorder.
The activity continued with the taking of the oath of office carried out by the Undip Rector accompanied by clergy according to the beliefs of each official. Then, the signing of the Oath of Office Minutes by the Undip Rector and Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. and Drs. Mulyo Padmono as witnesses.
A total of 19 (nineteen) Undip officials who were appointed will occupy several positions in Faculties/Schools and several units in Undip. Meanwhile, 3 (three) State Civil Apparatus received First Appointments in the Functional Positions of Skilled Educational Laboratory Administrator at the Faculty of Public Health, Skilled Nurse at RSND, and Skilled Medical Recorder at RSND.
Starting his speech, Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. congratulated officers and employees who have been appointed and taken the oath. “I congratulate the ladies and gentlemen who have been appointed. “Have fun working and obey the existing rules,” said Prof. Yos.
Prof. Yos invited all officials to do their best for Undip and always be enthusiastic in their work. “Do your best and stay enthusiastic. Don’t be lazy because Allah’s blessing will not come to a lazy person. We must express this gratitude with enthusiasm,” he explained.
Apart from that, Prof. Yos added that the trust of students and the community should constantly be enhanced by maintaining the quality of education, service, financial accountability, and work with complete dedication. “We maintain that trust; together, we carry out our duties as well as possible. I hope this additional assignment will be a blessing for the family,” concluded Prof. Yos.
