Prof. Faisal, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., was officially appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip). He was inaugurated at the Official Inauguration Ceremony on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the Prof. Sudarto S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang Campus.
The inauguration ceremony was led directly by Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., and also attended by the Chair of the Academic Senate, Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees, Vice Rectors, Dean of Faculties/Schools, guests, and appointed Undip officials.
Prof. Faisal, who previously served as Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs, is trusted to lead the Faculty of Economics and Business Undip for the 2024-2029 period, replacing Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. The previous Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Undip, was elected as Rector of Undip for the 2024-2029 period.
Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. advised and gave a mandate to the inaugurated Dean to continue to improve the achievements gained by the previous Dean. Apart from that, he is also serious about his work and always gives love to the entire Undip academic community.
“For the new Dean, together we should improve the achievements and accomplishments that previous officials have carried out. Let’s work harder for a greater result,” said the Rector.
The appointment of these officials is based on the Decree (SK) of the Chancellor of Diponegoro University Number: 32/UN7.A/KP/I/2024 s.d. Number: 81/UN7.A/KP/I/2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Vice Chancellors, Deans, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Departments, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, and Supervisors within Diponegoro University.
